Remember Bruna? Today she tells us what GROW meant to her and what she learned from this experience:
This experience was much more than I expected, I had the chance to know this amazing country, its amazing people and to live there as a part of the community, which was great; the project is amazwing and really well structured, I was impressed!
For me it was really hard to talk in public in the beginning, but the conference helped me a lot with this.
This experience changed my perspective about so many things, myself, the world… I learned that I can push myself to the limits and I’ll make it. It was great to discover more about Romania as well!
Every time a student came to me with a simple nice comment about the sessions, or about the way my partner and I delivered, it was amazing to me. If I was having a bad day, or if I was just tired, this would change my humor completely and would make me very happy. When we were saying goodbye at the train station it was one of the most beautiful moments of my life.
The interaction with the teenagers was way easier than I expected, and a bit tiring as well. They were really interested in us and in the sessions.
If someone from my country asks me about Romania, I would say to him just to go there, because he will not regret.
